This was a cute one-shot. I love the enthusiasm Tachel has. I can almost picture Shelby the same way.

This is probably the 3rd time I've read this, and I still love it. You should write more; I love your take on Rachel and Shelby's relationship. And I don't think Hiram and Leroy will find it so funny once Rachel is old enough to see Wicked. Shelby will take her to see it and then immediately leave her with her dads - the perfect revenge. They won't last the weekend.

Oh God. Yes. You HAVE to write that. I can just imagine them waking up to find little Rachel has taken a bath in green food colouring and while trying to teach a toy lion to talk. They shouldn't have too much of a problem unless the broom disappears and they start to hear Defying Gravity. :)

I loved it!

I just grinned like a fool reading this. Rachel's enthusiasm and Shelby's exasperation were spot-on. I can totally see Rachel being like this when she was little.

I loved Rachel telling Shelby that she could sing better than Grace. And Rachel reaching for thin air as she tried to get into her car seat was adorable. I could picture that so clearly. Shelby putting Rachel to bed like Grace and Daddy Warbucks did with Annie was a very nice touch. I liked the interaction between Shelby, Hiram and Larry, too. It's nice to see them as a family. And, you know, nice to see that the dads actually do exist.

Great little glimpse into these characters' pasts. :)
