I love how Harry in this story is a lot like Newt Scamander.

I liked this story a lot. Excellent.

You have Harry act a bit too much like a blushing teen rather than a grown man. A bit cringeworthy if he's still a virgin after all these years.

And it still strains SoD too much that they haven't met up before now, after all magical travel makes it far easier. Floo, portkeys, apparation.
They could also have communicated through mirror, or through owl post.

Kinda yawn-inspiring. And no excuse for 17 years with only one-way communication. Should have let her contact him at least a few times. What a dick. I’m old enough to know how easy it is to lose tough with people...but for people who are that close...still cannot buy that. He’s a dick and she’s a doormat for accepting it.

A great story, well written with a good plot. I enjoy reading good writers who know their way around sentence structure and plot development. You could write professionally as a career.

17 years went by because Harry was a selfish, lying asshole who didn't give a shit about Hermione. He broke his "promise" to her because he never DID come back, never even bothered catching up with her. She was useless to him therefore he dumped her ass.

I don’t agree with you about the wand. I don’t think Dumbledore would have gotten rid of it if he could have; he really could not. Either he’d be too afraid of where the wand could end up if he’s not the one in control and best way is to keep it. Or he was under a thrall of sorts with the wand since it was unique and only worked for its “master”.

brilliant story, always thought they fit better together.

I get the point of this story, but I really don't like how Harry basically abandoned Hermione. The story was incredibly well written, but Harry proved himself to be a cold hearted bastard toward someone readers were led to believe he had some sort of connection with, and then there's Hermione who had so little self-worth that she didn't even bother holding Harry accountable for his actions (well, lack thereof). Disappointing plot.

The ending & the whole story is a fantastic short Fic. It is a must read, for everyone. The romance is great. The Sex is non invasive/Smutey. Teddy is Harry almost to a T.

OK. This chapter was great. Still, the long time, was too long for real, but works for the story; perfectly.
