I actually really enjoyed this! It was different. Not like something you’d expect. And I really found I liked the ending. It gives a sense of finality whole still knowing the story continues. I love it! I must say, you’ve really captured Elrond brilliantly here! I think this will be a fic I will read again many time.

Absolutely love it. The use of rain- truth be told, I'm rather with Erestor on liking thunderstorms- was wonderful. Great sequal. And really good for something 'unedited', as you said. Most impressive.

Wow, and an unedited draft. I think it turned out well too! I felt the tension and dread building with the thunderstorm. It evolved well into Erestor finally taking the step to confront his past. It was particularly effective to have Erestor suddenly find himself knocking at Elrond's door.

Good luck with those financial aid forms. Perhaps they conjured the thunderstorm for you!
