This is really well written, and it's a damn shame not enough people favorite/review it. Petunia is like Snape to me: a fascinating, human character, who's rather awful and abusive, but strangely sympathetic, in a twisted sort of way. She isn't worthy of redemption, per se, but it's interesting to know what goes on in her mind. I love fics/headcanons that dig into her psyche, without going as far as making her Pure and Perfect or some BS. This is a really good ficlet. I hope you'll continue writing more in the future :)
