How about a sequel The Wardrobe Part 2 The Great Meltdown of Narnia? Or The Narnia Pipe Burst as the thaw melts down the snow into excessive water that builds up anywhere it can find and a general mess is made with travel greatly impeded. Even Centaurs would struggle in the mud and yuck.

It is very interesting to have Eustace in Edmund's place and Peter and Edmund actually getting along .

I'm enjoying your take on Eustace being in on the Wardrobe thing and being Jadis' little monster instead of Edmund. I think the bit of armor you mentioned is spelled greaves, not grieves. I think the wardrobe being a more active object is good and it actually being in Narnia as a three dimensional object is sensible. The vagueness of Lewis' writing about it always bothered me.
