sadly, this also seems to be dead. It was a wonderful read though.

I would say poor Tsunade if I felt anything nearing sympathy for the dumb bitch, but I really don't. She was one of the last few that could have really been family to Naruto growing up, but instead of embracing the family she had left, distant in blood or not, she decided to be a selfish cunt and go on an over decade long drinking and gambling binge feeling sorry for herself while dragging her apprentice along with her, forcing the Leaf to lose not one but both of their best healers. I mean, I really have nothing but contempt for Konoha either for how they pretty much all treated Naruto (not a one of them deserved his forgiveness or kindness), but the fact remains that Naruto was still there and she could easily have gone back to the village to at least grab him and take him with her. There's no way she didn't hear what happened in Konoha and she could at least have gone to check if any of her familial connections were still alive but instead she decided to let her grief consume her for over a decade. I'm not saying Jiraiya was much better but at least he was off keeping up with his spy network, a.k.a. doing something of actual use. Anyway, thanks for the story. I know it has been awhile since it's been updated (over 5 years, actually) but I honestly wouldn't mind seeing another update if it ever comes about. I would enjoy it. I like what you did with Kin. Instead of a one off side character that dies as an ultimately useless sacrifice in Orochimaru's forbidden jutsu (the exact name of the jutsu escapes me at the moment) to bring back one of the Hokage for a very short time, she's a badass with an awesome religion and character profile now. Not only that, but frankly this is a way better way to introduce Naruto to Jashinism than many of the fics I tried to read before this one (and probably the many I will read after as well). This is written well and flows well. Frankly, some of the other fics I tried to read were train wrecks in spelling and grammar alone which made them unreadable. Even when trying to force myself through them, the writing itself was atrocious as well. I've read so many things that should never have seen the light of day that I nearly wanted to gouge my own eyes out to make it stop. Anyway, as I said, good story. You write well. I hope to see this updated.
