You do have a point. It makes it worse that Sam wasn’t even suspicious of any evil. If Tucker hadn’t tagged along, Danny wouldn’t realize the truth until Technus began his attack

Yeah, DCMH annoyed a lot of people. I've heard Sam is BH's favorite character, but it doesn't seem that way at times. Yes, she gets away with a lot, but it doesn't feel like they put much care into writing her character. They try to emphasize how she's all about individuality, but forces people to eat like her in the very first episode. That, to me, doesn't scream, "I care about how my character comes across!"

Well, that was an explosive ending.

Sam and Danny's relationship grows and becomes unconventional.

Now gonna read the sequels, aka "The Most Horrifying Deaths Sequels."

Tucker gets another chewing out, Undergrowth takes over, and Sam has become a hypnotized Poison Ivy.

Rereading this story and it still holds up. This is a good start of a good trilogy.

I agree Sam is very pushy. And the way people portray her is on the very very edge of mary sue-ish, others skip those borders and make her always in the right. It's nice to see a story like this.
