Great story! I love Sam being all worried about Dean - even though he has a lot of his own worries.

Wonderful idea with the doctor duck and really nice story. I liked Sam tip-toeing around the subject because he thought Dean was losing it. But, of course, the end was even better, Sam realizing that Dean just wanted to do something fun and ridiculous for a few minutes and if this something was a dressed-up rubber duck, so what. Also loved that big-brother Dean had placed the now-nacked teddy bear under Sam's covers - so sweet.

You know, I do love my Winchester just like that. Of course, I also read your "Winchesters Rising" universe (and attached stories, i.e. "Can I Borrow the Car?"), but as Von I find it a little boring and even though I'd love a happy end for The Boys as well, I prefer to not have it yet (or anytime soon). - Yeah, I know, I might be a little sadistic in that regard.

Sam watched him. He watched his big brother who'd had to be grown up since he was four, who'd had the weight of the world on his shoulders more time than Atlas, who only wanted fifteen minutes of being able to do something utterly ridiculous but utterly fun.

I'm with Sam. Sometimes you have to go a little crazy to keep from going completely nuts. So it's nice to see Dean found a way to do that. And the image of him dressing up a duck - too cute!

What a cute story. Dean would absolutely be a fannish fan of his favorite tv shows. He's obviously memorized all the fan stuff for his favorite music groups on the show.

This is so cute, too true (about the show) and I love how your Dean can still find the little joys. I love how your Sam recognises this and participates as well. The teddy in his bed was a really nice touch.
