I love this, Rachel! I'm sorry it's taken me so long to review, but when I started to read it the first time and saw that it started right off with the end of the finale, I decided to rewatch the finale right before I read the story - and it worked perfectly! You write both Finn and Rachel so well, and you develop their relationship so perfectly, and it all just stays so true to the show :)

I really loved the random reference to Men in Tights, btw, and I snorted when Finn made the off-hand comment that Kurt probably thought it was about something else. Ooh, and I really liked the attempt at a dinner party - of course Rachel would want to feel all "adult" with a dinner party, and *of course* it would turn out to be a disaster!

And the scene with Santana in the bathroom - I LOVED that! I really want Santana and Rachel to be friends, but I want it to make sense, too, and I would die for a scene as in-character and both funny and sweet as that to appear on the show.

I also really liked that you had them celebrate each month together - it was a string that tied the story together, and of course Finn and Rachel would feel the need to celebrate *every* month together! Also, this is kind of random, but that Quinn mentioned their conversation on their facebook walls? I really liked that - it makes the story seem so true-to-life. haha, yes, that sounds stupid now that I say it, but details like that are what makes the story so realistic for me! :D

And that they redo the picnic scene - kiss and all - at the end makes me so happy! It was the perfect ending!
