I know that this whole thing is pure crack but it would be far more interesting if Itachi just kidnapped Sasuke and dumped him through the well and sealed it off. Little bro is safe from the crapsack ninja world and Madara in general, hijinks ensue as Sasuke tries to cope. This would probably need interaction with some fandom (Inuyasha is 100% unknown to me so I can't comment on suitability.) Mangekyo memorywipe as an optional extra perhaps?
