This was so beautiful at the end. Don't cry! I thought I might, but you wrote it so lovingly and perfectly. Just the way most of us would want to go: after a long life full of love and joy with someone you adore to share it all. And then meeting in a gorgeous afterlife full of all your favorite things and special places you shared. That is an astoundingly positive view of a life well-lived!

I truly want to thank you for this fic as it means everything to me. This was the best work I've read throughout all fanfic platforms and it better than many books I've read.

I just re-read these two-well 1 all together (I mean quarantine am i right?!) Since I already reviewed the last chapter some time ago, I will post my comments here. Anyways...this story is still just as good as I remembered. I would have to take a break because I knew something scary or sad or heartbreaking was coming up and I had to prepare for it even though I couldn't remember all the details. This has always been one of my favorite stories as I consider both the political and legal romance to be one large story.
I also saw that you were updating one of your other stories and I am so glad since you are one of my favorite writers. I am so glad you're still writing as klaine stories are still an escape for me during hard times and I often come back to favorite authors as there aren't that many producing new stuff. I'm very excited! Thank you again for your beautiful gifts and I hope you keep producing them as long as they keep bringing you Joy.

It’s been years since I’ve reread this fic. I decided to reread ALR on a whim yesterday. It still holds up. The sex, the drama and the love are still excellent. And the ending gets me every time. 3
