John is the last unicorn. Interesting version.

Lovely. I liked how John being a unicorn explains the psychosomatic limp and the, "I'm not the John Watson you know". It also makes Sherlock being a Virginia comfortable for them both, although John's reputation as a lady killer brings to mind other myths about Unicorns and virgins. Good story.

The mythical aspect of this story was precisely why I chose to read it and I was NOT dissapointed!
1. Your writing was really impressive!
2. I also loved the quotes you added in at the beginning of the chapters.
3. I was a bit confused at the time frame between the killing of the dragon and the present.
4. How John got away with killing a man was unclear so I don't know if that was intentional or not but I'm just saying that kind of threw me off

I can't decide if I like it or not. You know what might be interesting? A prequel with the unicorn and Isaac Newton; a lot of people think he was a virgin his whole life.

I read the summary and thought this sounded a lot like The Last Unicorn- which I love! So I'm interested to see your take on it.

Very creative. You made a lot of pieces fit together in this first chapter, and I'm impressed.

Too cool, tepid, too cool. I wonder how this John will deal with Irene? I wonder how Sherlock will act as he gets to know John better.

At first I wasn't sure this would work. I asked myself why I was even trying to read this, but then I got hooked, and now I want a sequel or something. The way you tied the canon elements in with the parts of your own universe and how you kept the characters' main traits despite changing them to fit this whole new world are brilliant.

I have to say that is a perfect ending to a very imaginative little story :) :D. Would you consider writing more? :)
