This chapter was a little vague, but it captured the personalities of Sephiroth and Zack fairly well. What I found confusing, however, were the details that explained the circumstances surrounding Sephiroth and Cloud's first meeting. The phone call between Cloud and his nonexistent "father" seemed a bit rocky: While we have an idea as to the irresponsibility posed by the latter, and Cloud's feelings on him, the progression that led to the SOLDIER's unhappiness felt forced, rather than naturally happening. I enjoyed the interaction between Cloud and the others, but it would be a pleasure to see an elaboration on important events that occurred.

Please, please, PLEASE continue the story! I really want to know what happens when he meets Angeal! And this particular chapter was...interesting. SOLDIER Cloud was a bit more bold than I expected. Although it seemed rather odd that he didn't know anything about Genesis, and still managed to hold a conversation with him for at least an hour. Isn't the fiery commander hypothetically the terror of cadets? Or is this story where Cloud is gradually going to get to know each member of the fabulous four? The transition was a little sudden, and Genesis seemed less sadistic than usual, but I'm curious to see how things progress. Their first meeting was definitely hilarious, though. XD
