I'm really late to the party but this chapter really jumped the shark. As another guest stated this makes no sense. I know people were down on Bella and maybe this chapter provides some insight to her actions but still doesn't excuse her from not reaching out to Edward. But Edward's behavior is really baffling. No history of drug abuse and signs of erratic extreme behavior that after 4 days of Bella leaving he is off doing coke and sleeping around. It feels like you were trying to justify Bella's behavior by creating this extreme over the top Edward with no context to support his behavior. Really very odd. Edward was the level headed one in the beginning easy going but intense and passionate about his art. But This! Some really disappointed with the direction of this story. Love your other stories though.

Bella is truly pathetic in this story...always needing to be saved and be taken care of.
