Toxicthecat4836 chapter 1 . 5/9/2019 This was a really sweet and heart warming story. |
Guest chapter 10 . 2/1/2018 Just binge-read this whole thing. What a stunning read. LOVE IT! Please continue writing, you've obviously got a knack for it. |
creativesm75 chapter 10 . 12/15/2017 nice |
Mason Topi chapter 10 . 9/16/2017 This was nothing less than astounding. One thing that irks me about most 'Lion King fan-fiction is the lack of tasteful 1 lore. Fans seldom take 1 seriously or put any real effort into writing decent fanfics about it. But this is the hidden gem for those of us who appreciated the one direct-to-video sequel that Disney got right! |
The White of Seven Colours chapter 10 . 5/24/2017 Thank you for your efforts and time, because it's a marvellous story! It preserves the spirit of the Lion King, the characters are very close to canon. I loved every moment of it. What's more, I expected the story to be more humorous and light, but instead it's a serious, profound work, especially when it took a turn to philosophical problems, with life and death and family and sacrifices, and it's so good! Thanks for great Simba, for Mufasa's cameo, and for Timon and Pumbaa, of course, as I usually don't like characters who serve the entertaining purposes much, but you certainly showed their depth )) Back to Mufasa. It's both hilarious and sad that the two Simba's fathers meet like this. And when I think about it, it's so touching. They both sacrificed (or almost sacrificed) their lives for their child. Mufasa had died earlier and wasn't able to be there for Simba like he'd like to. Timon was there instead, he and Pumbaa raised a king. And now father meets father, and it's just WOW. Yeah... I like that there're a lot of different POV's, not only Timon's, it's interesting to read every one of them, the picture becomes more full and colourful. You interlocked the events from the movies with your own ideas perfectly. I'm so very-very glad that the question about kings and existence after death found its answer (though how is Simba supposed to learn all that if Timon's forgotten everything?). And I'm really happy that Timon has his rightful place among the greatest secured, as will happen to all of them one day. The last paragraphs: Timon the Lion Patriarch XD |
Geschichtensammler chapter 10 . 2/22/2017 Ive actually read this story several time over the course of its creation, and I enjoyed it every time. So this time, Ill be able to put it on my list of favourites. Seriously, thank you for writing this. |
MayContainHyjinks chapter 10 . 8/10/2016 Dear Bookworm Gal Lion king. Parenting. Adoptive type parents. This is gonna be good Well now. Our three musketeers are in a bit of a pickle. Yeaaaaa. About that bug diet for lions xD You made Sarabi pull off a "awesome mom" moment didn't you? It was epic! Go Ma indeed. Hahaha Mom's Rule. No question. Zira...wow. The feels. Yay happy disney ending! Aw man. Not Sarabi! I was a little confused to Kondo. Then I remembered the begining. My fault I take breaks between reading windows You have a problem with not leaving characters dead hahaha Yo Mufasa! Hahahaha that ending hahahahaha perfecto! Thanks for the story! -Hyjinks |
Multidimensional Scribe chapter 10 . 6/21/2016 Saw this recommended on TVTropes and I was glad I took a look at it. You explores a concept mostly ignored and grounded it into reality with the right amount of fluff |
Kayla chapter 10 . 4/26/2016 Really liked this, I always wanted to read a parent POV from Timon and Pumbaa. I liked how you included Mufasa at the end as well. I don't know if you know this but this is the third ranked highest under 'favorites' so that's how I came across this. Great job! |
The-Fourth-Queen chapter 3 . 2/7/2016 This story is great, just what I had been looking for. |
Katunei999 chapter 7 . 10/2/2015 I loved this story anyway, but you've got yourself a place on my favourite's list for this chapter. The way Timon, as you put it, 'snapped', was as heart-warming as it was tragic (seeing as he died). It was the first time Timon vocalised his love and parental feelings towards Simba, even more so by referring to him as a cub. Excellent job! This was exactly the kind of story I was looking for. A story that really showed you the bond between Simba, Timon and Pumbaa. Thank you for writing this. |
EeveeKey chapter 10 . 9/7/2015 SEQUEWAAAALLL |
vayetze chapter 3 . 8/7/2015 Love the interaction between Ma and captured Timon's feelings regarding Simba. |
Guest chapter 4 . 7/1/2015 Actually, while it isn't any evidence that Kiara had a sibling, the cub presented at the end of Lion King 1 is different from Kiara's presentation at the start of Lion King 2. But the can be waved off as the directors not planning a sequel. |
