I've gotta say, one of the best Fallout fics I've ever seen. I really hope you'll update soon, because this is awesome. I feel like the Desert Rangers don't get as much attention as they should, pretty much only being a footnote in New Vegas. Keep up the good work, please.

Update this story already. It's excellently written and original, as well as accurate lore-wise. Read Fallout: Orleans, The Four Horseman of the Post-Apocalypse, and Fallout: Lucky Dragon if you need inspiration.
