Thanks for the note! Actually I wanted to review before but was reading on my phone which made it difficult.

Anyway, really enjoyed this story. Haven't seen anything like it. It has action in it, which you never see in oneshots. Usually they focus on an emotional or relational moment. This could have been the climax of a longer fic. I thought I'd have a hard time following, since I didn't know when or why this adventure was taking place, but you included just enough hints throughout to explain their lives without just spelling the whole thing out.

I also liked Erik's POV here. Erik tends to get written of as practically magic. Fifty bad guys? Sure no big deal, he'll just pull out his magic lasso and... cutscene... he's back with Christine and they're back on the road. You managed to put a level of reality in his uncertainty and need to think on his feet. Nice job.

Well, I definitely look forward to reading more of your other stuff. Keep writing :)
