great ending. i like that you left the door open for them in the future even though cc turned niles down for now, and i loved how sensitive she was and careful with her words, not wanting to hurt him. i really enjoyed this whole story from beginning to end, so thanks for all the work you put into it. looking forward to your next fic :)

Boo! I'm sad this is the last chapter. A good decision on CC's part, though. Even though they love each other, jumping out of the loony bin into the crazy house that is the Sheffield mansion can't be a good start for a new relationship. Please continue your story of Niles and CC in some way. Looking forward to it!

There were several new stories and updates when I logged in today. I read the others first because I always like to save the best for last. I was sad to read that there are only two chapters left. I love how CC is pretty closed around the therapists and in her mind is basically telling them to bug off and stay out of her life. That's very CC! It took guts for Niles to admit that he loved her and I felt bad for him that CC didn't react the way he wanted her too. But, she has been damaged and is going to be very cautious and careful as she treds new ground. Can't wait for the next update!

This chapter was so very wonderful and I cannot WAIT until you upload the next one!
