very much enyoying this story so far. quality writing over all.

i'd normally just leave a review for a story at the end, especially when it's finished before i start reading it, but with Gladimon going all Kuno made me want to write something now. It was a nice reference to pop up out of the blue.

It seems like a large portion of the digidestined have a bullying problem, or are involved in trying to sort it out in the case of Iori and Miyako. Curious if that's meant to be an intentional thing linked to them being Chosen Children (or maybe having partners) or it's just being pulled into Davis' issues and Sora having her own.

Speaking of the partners I rather like that they've been living with the kids for a few years now, it seems like basically every other story has them being split up the second the battles are over.

Not sure I'm fully sold on the idea of all the digimon having armor forms yet, especially with them able to use any if them. It's good that the original digimon aren't just useless and it probably helps with pacing but it just feels odd to me. I was also half expecting Palmon to turn into Ponchomon, I think there could be a decent comedic moment thereall the digimon getting totally different forms and then Palmon becoming a somewhat deranged looking (based on the profile image which is all i've seen) ghost Togemon.

I'm kinda hoping V-mon becomes a temporary villian, he seems a bit too over the top protective of Daiskuke, so Incouod see him going out of control for a while in order to calm down.

Ohhh this was an amazing story! I like the parallels to the original story too! You’ve basically taken the essence of certain parts of 02 and made it even more in depth/insightful while adding a tremendous amount of detail into the characters and lore of the story. The characters all have reasonable motivations and actions to me, and the OC’s appearance doesn’t feel forced (which is honestly one of the hardest things to do for fanfiction) and overall I think the story’s just amazing!

Wow what an ending! Gonna rush over to read the sequel now. My heart hurts for Ken though... The way he must be feeling and tbh I’m very very pissed at Daisuke. It’s within his character to do stuff like this but he helped cause all that destruction all because he was angry. He and the rest of the Chosen Children will come around to Hikari’s POV soon (I hope). Just want to say thanks btw! For writing this rich story. There’s so much background information, lore, new digimon and characters. Yet, I think you’ve managed to focus on each character well. The detail with the 15 crests too is just insane. I think I’ve said this already, but I’m going to read the sequel right now!

Hahaha I know that the pairing in the book is less significant than the actual plot but I still can’t help but wonder. There’s been hints of Takari, Daikari and now Kekari. Wonder what the final pairing will be! Or if there will even be a final pairing

Tbh Daisuke’s attitude is kind of starting to piss me off. Don’t get me wrong, he has a lot of redeeming traits too! But the hot headed rashness is starting to get to me, especially when it’s not helpful and just riles up the digimon kaiser. Whenever Hikari’s getting through to him, and it seems that the digimon kaiser might be affected by her words, Daisuke butts in and all it does is make him angry. Daisuke’s character’s close to canon though! So can’t fault him for doing that but it just irritates me

On chapter 23! The relationship between Ken and Wormon really intrigues me. It makes Ken have so much more dimension (along with the other scenes you’ve put in) that makes me almost prefer this to the original because of the nuance. It makes me think that Ken has a good (?) reason or at least something the reader can empathise with, for doing all the bad stuff he’s been doing so far. The fact that he at least still cares about his partner gives hope that he can be saved

I’m on chapter 6 now! Honestly Jijimon’s very very funny! Hahahaha couldn’t stop laughing at those scenes. I wonder how Ryo’s going to play into all of this, and when (or if) the new Chosen Children, especially Miyako are going to enter the story! Especially since the digimental of love has been found. I wonder too, why Daisuke’s digivice isn’t like Hikari’s and why Takeru’s digivice hasn’t changed yet. So many questions hahaha but I’m excited to continue reading and find out more! :’)

Sora’s D-3 reminds me of Yolei’s D-3 from the second season of Digimon.

This chapter reminds me of Season 2, Episodes 23, “The Digiteam Complete”, and “A New Digitude”.

The character development, the action, the fact that it actually utilised the ACTUAL names of the original and actual Digimon! Honestly, the best thing I've ever read, in every sense, and such an inspiration. Thank you. 3

Oh my gosh, what an ending! Is Ken also trapped in the Dark Ocean? Does Neemon have the ability to cross between the Dark Ocean and Digital World at will? Is that why he said he'd be able to take care of Ken and the other two trapped there? And why is Neemon's speech pattern so eerily similar to Zeed(millennium)mon's? Don't tell me Neemon was also corrupted by Zeedmon and is his agent! Or is in fact an aspect of Zeedmon! You have created a true masterpiece here, with fully fleshed out characters and rich world building. I only wish the Digimon creators had you as a consultant when they were crafting the first two seasons; I greatly prefer your version of 02 over the actual one, even though I already loved the canon 02! I am anxiously awaiting the sequel to see how the Chosen will shape up and rescue Ken/Keiko/Ryo and confront the devas and the Great Betrayer (yes, he gets his own title now).
