Wow! So Red is an alternate universe Ash?

1. Screwtape and Wormwood? Which one's Jessie and which one is James?
2. When did Ash get a Fearow?
3. So Cassidy and Butch killed Misty and Brock and stole all their Pokemon. Team Rocket is SO low.
4. I don't see Ash with a Drowzee.
5. So ...I'm confused about the ending.

Wow, this is seriously amazing. I loved the idea of Ash joining Team Rocket. I couldn't for the life of me work out what had happened to Pikachu, Misty and Brock, but I was definitely fooled by Ash 'killing' the Drowzee. His interactions with Jessie, James and Meowth were both rather touching and very funny - I thought you created a really nice dynamic between them all. Everyone seemed very in character to me. I liked the subtle hints at rocketshipping in the Goldenrod Radio Tower bit, and it was interesting that you didn't specify if they ended up together or not in the end. Ash's reasons for joining Team Rocket were completely noble in the end, and I really liked the inclusion of Gary so that he could explain what the heck happened to Misty and the others. The ending itself was very hard-hitting and thought-provoking - I love the idea that Ash has been reunited with Pikachu and has continued training to take on aspiring Pokemon trainers, even if he is dead.

Another thing I forgot to mention earlier was the inclusion of the mini flashbacks throughout and Ash's 'battle' with the young kid who came to take on Team Rocket. They were both wondeful ways to help the readers piece together just what had happened. In particular I liked the scene with Ash and the kid after the battle because it was both sad and rather beautiful to read about.

A definite favourite of mine.

Took me like 7 hours... or so, to read but this was a really good story. Would it kill you to make this story in chapters instead of a really long 'page'?

Misty and Brock died? :( This was a great story though! Great job! But I got lost at the end. Is Pikachu dead or not? Whatever...Once again, great job!

Dude, two words. Freakin' Amazing. Jessie, James and Meowth are three of my favorite characters. And I absolutely love the epilogue. Thanks for writting this!

GSC has the most interesting plot, so I'm glad someone managed to make something of it with Ash.

Ya'know, there are some things you should know, in case you COMPLETELY forgot the Gold/Silver storyline.

Brock and Misty DID survive or at least SHOULD HAVE, so either you were covert in writing about the gunshots, OR forgot that Brock and Misty are still Gym Leaders in Gold/Silver.

Interesting point that you didn't mention Gary as Blue, Red's Counterpart. Also, Red(Ash)'s Pikachu would have had to survived as well, if it's going to make sense in the last scene.

But other than that, pretty good story. Nice details and commentary, and how this could actually fit into the storyline between Yellow(or at least the anime) and Gold/Silver.

I can't really describe the feeling I'm experiencing right now, but it's awesome! AWESOME!

I have to wonder... speculation, really... is Ash merely a phantom in the end? Such... yes, I think I'll go with that. It's always interpretation anyway, isn't it? And that would be just like him - to teach others even after his death, back together again with his Pikachu.

Awesomeness galore. Probably one of the best Pokemon fics I've ever read.
