OMG! When the Warden was thinking about being a villain and going Muwahaha reminds me of how Megamind thinks of how a villain is supposed to be like.

Oh my god! Right in the feels for like almost the entire story! I was crying silent tears for like 6 chapters or more. Excellently written.

To fucking cute, I mean seriously, mega mind is a huge fucking dork it's ridiculous. I liked the story.

This is lovely. I really like that you made it canon-compliant and gave some explanation of Megamind's childhood that makes sense of how Megamind was raised. I also just really appreciate your psychologist character and the way the warden goes through that process of doubt and pain. He doesn't immediately forgive Megamind, but there's some resolution nonetheless, and both of them recognize and talk about what went wrong. And the warden's gruffness and unwillingness to talk being played out realistically was good. He doesn't say things easily, but he *does*, once he realizes it's a good idea, and I think often characters like that are written badly. This was a good story, and it was nice to read.

This story really was so sweet, heartfelt, and emotional. I really felt for the warden, Megamind, and their history together. Your writing perfectly conveyed their story in such a beautiful way! How painful the unconditional love of a parent can be, how much hurt can build up in what's not said and in the need to appear strong/in control of your emotions, and how bonds can be mended even after being tugged and flayed countless times were all so beautifully portrayed.
Great job! This was an instant fave!
