Beautiful plot. It's really great to find some fanfics that doesn't revolve only in shoujo genre type of life. You really captured Itachi's emotion based from the original work and it's fun reading a more mature Naruto. Good Work

I could have really enjoyed this if Itachi hadn't been so out of character. If anybody asks me about what it means to write something about Itachi, I would say it really is a hard task. Taking into consideration that he's probably one of the most complex characters in the whole Naruto world, writing from his perspective seems really difficult, but strangely enough I didn't have a problem with the way you portrayed him on this first chapter, the only problem, and the major problem there seems to be is that, aside from his early questions to Tsunade about Sasuke, he seems not to care a rat ass about his brother. I know that is important to stablish the main course of a story early in the chapters but rushing things is sometimes more harmfull than not. I was specting him to settle things with his brother first and then planning what to do. Also, is true that in the real story he had a certain amount of curiosity about Naruto that has a great deal of potential if you are planning for pairing them both, but you can't forget a great amount of that curiosity came to him after seeing the way his brother interacted with Naruto. This may sound rash but I'm telling you this because I really liked your writing style and I felt that if you could improve in some of the things I mentioned, you can really be more amazing than what you are now.

so glad you finished this. would have loved to see sasuke's reaction (and even kakshi's teasing or mother-hen iruka), but still a sweet ending. maybe you could do a one-shot where the village knows about the relationship and the council are panicking.
