| R.Draco chapter 9 . 9/30/2014 You know I really love your story and I quite surprised to see the no. of reviews this story get. But, I think I know why... 1. For starter, your story is too short. 9 chapters with 7,000 words. Try to write one chapter consist of minimum 5000 words. I know it hard, caused I'm a fanfic author too. But, I manage to pull it through. So, can you. Try to plot your story. It help me everytime. 2. Don't rush the story. Yami asked Yugi went to date on the 2nd chapter. It's too bad because you have a good start. If I tried to work with Yami's son development first. Where Yami talked to his son about his behaviour with his teacher (which you skip this part caused I really want to know the reason); then explain how Jake done the project about family. Which through this project Yugi will know more about Yami's family. And then I put the part Yami asked Yugi for dates. So, take it easy little and put more conflict. Make readers suspens. There a lot more I want to say, but I think you need to focus on this 2 weaknesses first. Anyway, this a good story and I'm really looking forward to the next chapter. - |
