The beginning was heartsbreaking, devasting, rending, tearing. I truly felt for the Doctor, feeling his every sorrow and burden. The Master, I hated with him with all my hearts. But then, the middle, the hope and despair- the sense of lose and defeat and pain. The end, I cried and laughed and my parents wondered in my sudden change of mood. But, most of all, the last chapter. When the Master died and Martha left in the original episode I was dumped with the feeling of despair and loneliness. The last chapter... As some AMAZING writer once said, "There had been a time to fight, a time to forgive, and a time to mourn. Now is the time to live."

Because it's amazing and deserves it. I'd never thought about what the Master could have done instead of ageing the Doctor, and you have done it extremely well.

Like I said in my other review, thank you for this story. I haven't gotten to see Utopia, TSoD, or LotTL, but this fic really gave me a clue as to what it was probably like (of course much less bloody, but, you know). I really liked this. Thanks. Allons-y!

Hey, I know you did this fic a while ago, but I just found it, and it has been the substance of my reading for the last few days. I read a lot of whump, the emotions usually do not come to me, I read, and move on. This story was no different, until this chapter. I swear, this is the first time I ever cried reading a whump fic, or any fic, for that matter. And I wanted to say, thank you. Thank you for fiction of such quality that I can actually feel the emotions, integrate myself into the story. And Charlie, I'm sorry. I'm so, so sorry.
