That chapter had a little of everything in it. I laughed at Lee thinking of laser eyes since this is a science fiction show. I laughed when she fell forward in her chair, though I don't know if that was supposed to be funny or not. Nice use of the word buzzed for River hovering around to give suggestions. Zoe's dream in the infirmery was funny. I'm glad Wash is okay. We haven't seen Ann in a while.

And for constructive criticism, I thought I mentioned this, but in this last chapter, I found it slightly odd that Mal let Zoe go off on her own after Wash was slightly out of character, but that's just me!(: just you know, because she's like to do something risky for him, and also I would think Mal wouldn't want to lose his pilot, (AGAIN) and them leaving both Li and Wash there alone, idk, it just seems a little off to me! (oh wait, that wasn't constructive. Oh well, I've been awake far too long, I'll try to do better next chapter, I swear!;))

By the way, about your earlier comment about how calligraphy pens would hurt, I was refering to Chinese calligraphy, which uses brushes rather than pens. They're like paint brushes, but... calligraphy...y.
