something about cas being so humanized is kind of hot. well now you know how cas felt everytime you walked away from him dean. dean you are so lucky to have cas and have him take you back even after all the shit you did to him

Wow. I totally cried over this one. The image of Cas just existing in his apartment for five months, waiting for Dean to come back... I was so proud of him when he turned out to be just as bad ass a hunter as he was an angel. And for learning how to want things for himself. Great story

I seriously love you for this. Making Cas into a strong independent human being, and still loving Dean. Not that I think he wouldn't, because they're obviously hooked on each other, but still. This story just made my day.

This is honestly one of the most amazing fics that I've ever read. Really, the writing, the plot, the way you wrote Dean and Cas and everyone else out, is just flawless. I've been glued to it since I found it an hour or two ago. Although it was heartbreaking to have to see Cas endure all that, you've done a magnificent job at showing him grow into being human. I just can't find the right words to sum my love for this story up.. It was just so different and new from the Destiel fics that I usually read, it was refreshing, to say the least. Never stop writing ok.

This was gorgeous! I enjoyed every paragraph, every word. I'd never seen a fic with tough!human!Cas before. He's always too dependent on the Winchesters, and rather too weak. I love how you had him live and grow on his own :)

This was excellent. I love that it goes against the grain of almost every other Dean/Cas fic out there, in that Cas doesn't need or have Dean there to walk him through all the difficulties of adjusting to his humanity. And ironically, despite the realistically rocky start, he's almost better at being human than Dean... Wonderful.

Oh goodness. I am really tempted to put in a bunch of gibberish, because words can't really express how much I loved this fic, this story, but I'll try anyway.

I always love fallen!Castiel fics, but this is probably my favourite, hands down. The well-paced build-up to him becoming a hunter, one that could function as both a good one and a normal person in every day life, I adored that.

My heart kept sinking with every paragraph because I had a feeling that this wouldn't be exactly the happiest story, but with the way everything was so perfectly worded, I couldn't stop reading once I started.

And Dean being the one to initiate the relationship, for Castiel to be the one who gets to make the decisions? Love love love. Every little detail, every description of Castiel's inner turmoil - hell, I even loved Sandy. There was really nothing to /not/ like here. So, in short, this is one of the best fics I've read in quite a while.

This was beautiful! Really accurate to their personalities, and it was nice to read a fic that showed Cas as a tough human instead of a reliant one.

I know it was wrapped up really nicely, but I do kind of wish there was more!

Oh, my gaaaad! I thought I wasn't going to SURVIVE that chapter.

Cas saving Dean: BAMF! Cas keaving him there: well deserved. Though I was afraid that it would have been one more misunderstanding between them. So it turned out to be the right thing to fuel Dean.

Really though, what helped was that one of them snapped and said what theyctruely meant, no sugar coatkng, no understatements. For, like... The first time ever. And ta daaa... It works!

This story rocks. It doesn't says 'completed' yet so it's even better.

Silly me, I didn't realize it was only 3 chapters...3 glorious chapters. I truly enjoyed this... best Cas/Dean fic I've read so far.

I find myself happy that there is another chapter, and sad knowing that once I finish chapter 3 I will want so much more. I love Cas' struggle as he tries to figure out "what he wants"
