The line, "I have never forbidden you to feel," brought tears to my eyes. I can hear it in Qui-Gon's voice, see it on his face, just as I can feel Obi-Wan's sadness and anger through your words. What a beautiful piece of writing you've built here. I love that it is all shown through Qui-Gon's eyes because it made his compassion feel even more real and true. An absolutely lovely and moving read.

Oh I really, really liked this one. This goes back to having compassion for all, no matter what it is they've done. I love it. And I liked seeing Obi-Wan deal with the consequenses of his actions.

The way you wrote this made me really feel for Obi-Wan - the way he was trying to deny/suppress the horror of what he experienced, but it was telling on him with his body -

And I loved Qui-Gon handling of it...so wise, observant and patient..not just jumping on him, spouting Jedi code like expletives, but bringing Obi-Wan gently into his fold, to lead him gently out of the mire he had been trying to sink himself into. This piece took us so gently inside Obi-Wan just a little, we saw his heart some, his imperfections...loved that part too.

This is another great one! I really like how you write! You really have the characters down perfectly! My favorite line was when Qui-Gon thought, "He is better than a perfect Jedi. He is an imperfect one". So good!
