Yeah, it's about time Goku realizes how much he missed out. It must have been difficult because he honestly didn't realize what he gave up, but I hope in the next chapter him and Gohan sort of figure things out.

I like this story. Personally, I kind of prefer it as a oneshot with just the first chapter, but I'm really enjoying your writing.

The reason I kind of prefer this as a oneshot is because the first chapter feels like a oneshot. It was packed with emotion, and even though not much happened if you write down the sequence of events, it served its purpose. I loved that.

However, these past few chapters have been a nice read as well. They aren't nearly as heart-wrenching as the first and the swearing kind of lightens it up a little, if that makes sense. I like Trunks and his wife. Even though they haven't been developed much yet, I feel like you chose a character that would suit him.

One thing I'd like to say: I hope this remains a story about Vegeta and Bulma, at least as much as you can make it. You've created a twist with the Dragon stuff, but I hope you stay true to what that first chapter set. :) All in all, I've enjoyed your story. Good job.

I can't bring myself to find any real critique. Probably because I can't stop crying :) The way you developed his overflowing grief was perfect and true to his character. The ending absolutely broke my heart. What a brilliant piece of work, my goodness.

I'm really glad that Trunks and Bra are taking really good care of Vegeta, and it was really nice of Vegeta to tell Trunks to be happy with Tracy.
