I really enjoyed that exchange where Sherlock explains why he phrased his text messages with the "I" instead of "you." I thought it came off first as back-handed, as Sherlock normally does, though upon further reading, Sherlock wasn't trying to manipulate John into coming back but was actually making an attempt to communicate effectively and non-confrontationally, as if nodding to the fact that he knows his social skills are crippled. Even Sherlock's explanation to John was awkward and clumsy while his logic was flawless. Very genuine. Very authentic Sherlock.
