I LOVED, LOVED THIS!

I have steadly been working my way through all of your works and this is in the tops as one of my favorites. The Regency slant was so fun, the poker wager was a great way to bring them together. The way Severus struggled with himself felt right, frustrating Hermione to no end.

I loved the secondary pairings: George and Luna was inspired; they make so much sense! Ron and Romilda made me snicker. Harry and Draco just make me happy, with all their competitive banter and fighting. Neville and his hero-worshipping Gabby was great, he deserves it. Loved the idea of Dumbledore wearing George's poker hat and eating chocolates still, playing monthly poker with the guys.

You are a wonderful writer. I learn new words, too, having to look up a few while reading. Love Jane Austen and this was a delightful romance.

I read this in a sitting today, and it is quite simply perfection. I love Jane Austen & I can easily imagine Hermione being enamoured of the period. I'm very glad she got her Dark Byronic Hero in the end. Thank you for sharing it with us.
