This was a great explanation for what happened to Cas. And it was funny.

I wish this story had been continued. It seems like it would make a great story. I love the idea of Castiel traveling back in time before the Pilot. I've never read a story quite like this. It's a shame it's only one chapter.

This is a very good start to a fic I hope you'll one day continue. I haven't seen writers use time travel to go back to season 1, or rather to a point in time before then, and I get why. Season 1 no Castiel. But I always thought that it'd be good to save Jess, if only for Sam's sake, and this way, you can do that *and* have Castiel, so good thinking. I'm actually really excited to see what'll happen afterward.

The pace at the beginning, admittedly, was a bit fast, but it wasn't necessarily a bad thing. Shit hits the fan real quick with the Winchesters, so the pacing still worked. And I especially liked it when Dean figured out Cas was from the future. He isn't a genius, yeah, but he's smart, he has to be, and it was cool to read him figuring it out so easily.

Like I said, I'm really looking forward to this, especially since John'll be involved. It makes me curious; Cas has never met John before, at least I don't think so, but he can read minds and stuff. He knows what's happened. It'd be interesting to read Cas blabbing his secrets, like he did with Dean and his visits to Stanford.

This really is a great start to what seems like a promising story. I won't ask you to continue it, since you might have shit going on in your life, but consider it, yeah? It doesn't have to be now. I just think it'd be a waste to leave it as is, though I suppose even without a continuation this would be good enough.
