I love HEAs, even if it takes a while to get there. I loved the personality of Harold. Even though his wife was gone, he did the things that helped him to remember her. Wearing her dresses wasn't really about the hot weather, it was about keeping her memory alive. He really was a hero, especially to Edward and Bella.

I'm sorry that Edward seemed like his moral compass was a little loose, but at least he was true to what he had. It is obviously to me that Mala thought that it was even looser than it was. I would not trust a person who said that he definitely wouldn't do something and then said he'd do it...but I'm glad that Edward didn't change his mind. The recent scandals revealed in our own government was extremely disheartening to me. I really hope that we can return to a government that is honest, but throughout our national history, it seems that greedy people have always had their hands out.

Although it has been a few years, I'm sorry about your husband breaking his legs. I was in that position about forty years ago, but the doctors broke mine in an operating room. It had to be done and I was afraid that if they did them one at a time, I would never get the second one completed.
Things have become so bad in the years since you wrote this story, it would be even tougher getting over the border.

Loved this story. I'm sure a lot of people said this but I'll say it too, this story deserves more reviews! Anyway, I love that Edward and Bella were truly partners in this.

I can't tell you how much I enjoyed reading this story. You know, I'm an angst wuss and even though Edward had doubts in his worthiness of Bella, I never actually feared he could leave her. Their feelings for each other were so strong and their relationship beautifully written. Thank you so much for this wonderful story, that kept me in suspense even though their relationship was strong. That's what the best stories are made of.

I think it's incredibly sh*tty of you to yank A Slow Boil off of this site, where it was once available for everyone who supported you most... especially after you got all the encouragement and reviews and helpful, generous reader and editorial comments for free.

But now you want everyone to pay for the privilege of ever again reading what they helped to support into fruition.
