This was a perfect coda for that episode-I thought the episode itself (for obvious reasons) didn't touch on the guilt part enough. So, thanks for writing this story and solving that problem. :)

This was an unbearably sweet and heartwarming story. I loved it, but the only problem I have is that, despite evidence in "Secret of My Excess", no one seems to think Spike can control his size just as he controlled his greed. He doesn't HAVE to get too big to move out of the library.

This is surprisingly good. Emotive, a little funny and well written.

I'm glad you wrote this, because there would have to be serious reproductions for Spike's rampage, especially in his own mind. Also, it bothered me that Rarity consoled Spike after he changed back instead of Twilight. Sure, Rarity was necessary considering the circumstance, but Twilight is practically his mother, so it's weird they didn't have a Spike and Twilight family moment too. Anyway, this fanfic satisfies me greatly.

However, I got a lot of Luna/Nightmare Moon vibes from this. An alternate ending where Spike does run away from Ponyvile but somehow runs into Luna, who can relate to him, and assures him that he won't be a monster and convinces him to go back.

But still, this fan fic was great.
