This is honestly one of my Favorite Stories of all time.

Hi! I like this story but it could use some editing. I do have a question: How could Mike be a Captain, when he's only been in the army a short time? Everything I've read says it would take 3-4 years to reach that rank, not to mention the training that is required. He's only been enlisted for, what, a year?

You did a really good job with this, and I have to compliment you on how you closed your ending, but left it open enough for a second chapter:) I hope that we get to see more of this story, maybe with the Dalton boy's reaction, but I understand if you don't.
