This was a fantastic story! I found myself really enjoying the glimpses you gave us into Eugene's past with the baker and the librarian. Of course, now I want more of these characters and how they react to Eugene's arrest, escape, and return with the Lost Princess. The thoughts and feelings in this were so well written that I'm really hoping you might be talked into doing more with two scenes I'd really love to see. In the movie, we never see the moment when Eugene discovers the truth about Rapunzel and we also never see what happens when her parents learn just who has brought her home. Would so love it if you wrote those!

Loved it! what a fun exploration of that day and how such a tough guy fell for the girl. You are good with words and I really enjoyed how you showed his internal struggle as he starts to let the facade of Flynn Rider go and be Eugene, the guy Rapunzel could be with forever. really fun and well done.

I like how you expanded on scenes from the movie, fleshing out the characters as individuals while also strengthening their bond slowly.

As of chapter 13: going to watch Tangled for the billionth time now.

AWW IT'S OVER. But so cute! I had a good time reading it, and taking a look at what he may have been thinking during these scenes. I've watched this movie so many times... I must say, at first I was a little disturbed at the age difference between them, but, when you're older, the age gap really is pretty small, if you know what I mean. Like, you wouldn't see how a ten year old and five year old could ever be involved in that way, but then they're both in their thirties and it's like, oh yeah, whatever. So I was able to get over it. I really like this story, I'm definitely going to look at your profile, and this will find its way onto my favorites list... Oh god, it's getting so long...

At first, I was like okay... AU, Maximus is supposed to be his alarm clock. And then, I was like, oh, I bet this is a dream! Because of the super strength and how everyone was acting, I was really hoping it wasn't real, I thought it had to be a dream because that didn't happen in the movie and Rapunzel would not do that. And I was thinking, if this IS real, no way I'm gonna read this. I kept waiting for a water droplet to hit his face... was starting to loose hope, was going to go back to the archive, but then, wait, there it is. Yay! Yeah, I guess I'm pretty unfaithful... sorry.

Nicely done! Love how you captured Flynn's voice - Nice title too. I'd love to read more! The sequel maybe?
