574 words were enough to make me cry. You should really write another fic which includes Enochian!

This was so beautiful; the fact that you used a language that the two of them know strictly through experience just paints a huge picture, encompassing everything between them; their relationship and what they both have suffered. I'd love to read a longer story entailing this detail... *le sigh* if only TV could be as good as some fanfics I've read...

This just shows you how far Dean would go to help Sam even learn another langued. Loved it and shows just how far any sibling would go for another and trust me I know how far that is from expieriance.

"Sam lifts his head up slowly, and says, "Dean?"

OMG, that was - the most tender, intimate, wonderful thing I've read in ages. That last line, by itself like that, is just a perfect climax. OMG. And the image of Sam is so perfectly described - "Sam is still sitting at the edge of the bed, but he's drawn his legs up onto the edge, and dropped his head between his knees. It makes him look small- so much smaller than his giant frame should allow." Dean's POV is wonderful, so loving and tender and yet there's no danger of us misunderstanding visually exactly what's happening.

"Dean kneels down next to the foot of Sam's bed so he can catch his gaze. He looks Sam in the eyes, and says quietly, but loud enough that he's sure Sam hears him..."

That's so intimate and heartbreaking and heartwarming all at the same time. You create this little bubble of shared space between them, and you up the ante with the Enochian - a language only the two of them understand. And you ramp up the emotion with "Zod-" Dean swallows, "Zod keh hah keh zod." What is past, is past." That swallow in the middle conveys so much - his hesitancy, that he's overcome with emotion, that he's searching for the words, that he's *this* close to breaking down himself. OMG. And "My brother is burning." Go ahead, rip my heart out, why doncha? And the way you play with our intelligence and our desire to understand - you don't translate 'brother' several times, but then when we reread, we understand it, and you don't translate every word, either, and you sneaked a "Sammy" into the middle of all the Enochian... *melts*

This is just masterful. I can't wait to read the rest of what you've written.

Loved this. The more I read about it, the more I really like the idea that Sam learned Enochian in hell. I really wish they would put something like this in the show. great job!
