This chapter gave me feelings I wasn't prepared to experience, congratulations. This is one of the best fics i've ever read.

Awww... I just... I just... hmph. I haven't waited the full 4 years for this chapter (even if it sure felt like it sometimes) but when I was scrolling through LoZ fics lookig for something to waste time on and saw this, I checked, on a whim, when it had last updated. When I realized it was yesterday, I stopped breathing for a full ten seconds. I truly think I died in that moment. Of course, I came back to life, becuase if I hadn't I couldn't have read the (amazing) new chapter! Just... even if I absolutely detest the thought of this story coming to an end, the ending you wrote was just so, so... completely and truly SATISFYING that it just left me feeling... I don't know, whole inside? It made me content with the conclusion in a way very few stories have, even with published, dedicated authors. This world felt real in an honest, tangible way. It's something the mind can grab onto and just watch in awe as this little pocket of words spins its magic. I'm a very picky reader. I favorite and review sparingly, because even if a story is basically good, I want to save my praise for the works that are truly special. And this was. This was SPECIAL in a way words can't truly define (unless you're the one writing, wordsmith as you are, I'm sure you'd find a way). So, thank you. Thank you for wasting hours of my time, not just with reading, but as I lay in bed, staring at the ceiling, making up my own stories of these characters you've so richly brought to life. Thank you for enchanting me. Thank you for writing this. And, also, if you've made it this far, thank you for reading my insanely long review.

It's sad that you may not update, but I totally understand why! :3 I wish you all the best if this ends up being the last one, but if not I can't wait for the next one! This arc was incredible, mainly seeing Link cope with the attack and such tragic stories that came from this arc in general; it was beautiful! :3

From your author's note, it seems like you're signing off on this story, but what a good way to end it. I'm glad for the resolution the characters found in this arc, and I wanted to especially compliment you on how you dealt with and resolved the argument/conflict between Link and Zelda in terms of Link's jealousy (not to mention all the other traumatic events going on!). The teenage years can be rough, and relationships complicated, and I appreciate the mature way that you've written that interaction out. Self-awareness can be tough, and I hope that maybe someone who reads your story can find guidance or a positive example with your words. These last two chapters were definitely the best, and I hope you have fun continuing exploring the world of writing.

I was thinking of this fic earlier, and I'm glad I found it again! Looks like there are more chapters than there were when I first read it, so that was a nice surprise. I really love how you've added depth to Skyloft and the Loftwings that you really can't have in a game.
