What a nice story. I really like your pacing and how you sometimes switch perspectives so we can understand their inner monologues. Great writing, it flew by and left me wanting to read more.

Awwwww how nice :D i was half expecting Ayase to show up to have some drama but thank god she didnt :-D i dont know exactly what is it but Kyouske and Korinos fics are just so heartwarming. Eve tho i came here for Kuroneko i read about 25 of thse fics and they are all great :D anyways great fic, thabk you for writing it :) some grammar mistakes here and there but who cares.

At the end I somehow expecting Ayase to suddenly appear out of nowhere and began the game of predator (with Kyousuke being the preyed, of course). Maybe I read too much cliche.

I was never really a person to like broXsis things...anime, manga, or stories...but after watching the anime and reading this story..dayum dude. The way you wrote it, was...amazing to say the least. I do hope you write another because i loved reading it

well, here's hoping this finds you well today, and I rather enjoyed reading this story! I would hope you would make it more than a simple one-shot, because you have actually started a story that can go many many ways, as the two of them develop their relationship, and get into various situations...but as a one-shot it's very good, and still stands on it's own, but again, I think that you could go a lot farther as to developing the relationship between the two! Very very good story tho!

Finally got the appropriate amount of time to thoroughly read this. Overall, very enjoyable (which was exactly what I needed). The flow is smooth, the detail is simplistically thorough, and the interaction is believable. To be truthful, I only have two complaints: Ayase's reaction and the confession (albeit minor).

A simple message to Kyousuke did not seem to distinctly express her concern for their assumed date, since we would expect more diliberate means to ensure her friend's safety from a pervy brother. Granted it's not important to the story and your approach is acceptable just to wrap up her involvement, I just wanted to convey such for future reference.

Lastly for the latter concern, I felt the confession was too sporadic: too cliche coming from the shoujo approach. If that was your intent, you did well. Of course it is understandable to convey such thoughts/feelings during the heat of the moment, but I just don't find it satisfactory (too soon, better said) to bluntly confess when you've gone through all the trouble to express their building nervousness (which is definitely your best feature in this entry).

Like I mentioned earlier, this was very enjoyable; probably one of the better holiday-based one shots that I've read. I'll look forward to more of your tales during my rare breaks.
