It's 2019 and I'm still reading. This is probably the best fic I've ever read. I know it will probably never be updated, but one can still hope right?

It's been a long time but I just remembered this story and I am dying to know how it ends!

Wow so in a fit of nostalgia I re read this fic and remembered just how great it was. Hopefully you are doing well. Not sure what happened to make updates stop but Hopefully things are okay. And if in the future you are able to finish this I definitely want you you know I will still be here.

I just want to say (again!) how much I love Counters. After waiting and waiting for an update, I just couldn't keep away. :-) I hope you haven't given up on this story!

I've been reading this for a while but just got an account and now can review. The whole premise of the story is brilliant and creative. I also love how Kurt gets his dream in a way, but it turns out the whole system is rigged and he is forced into a life he doesn't want. I am very curious to see what happens with Dave and his plan.

Ugh...I shuddered at the "bros helping bros" line! Very effective little moment to remind me why I hate Blaine and love Dave...and maybe Sebastian, too :p Great bit of back story with the Compliance overdose...

UPDATE! I was finally able to sit back and check out this awesome fic, for I truly missed Counters. All your stories are worth the wait;) I love the way you've written the characters in each chapter, and I can't wait to see what you have in store for our boys next.

I've been waiting patiently for this and I'm so happy it's here even if this story always breaks my heart a little. Blaine in this part was just so Blaine ... I hate him! I'm just glad Kurt didn't give into his pressuring ways. Sebastian was a surprise. And his memory loss! Nice to see a different side to that one. Can't wait for more.

my sister just forced us to a black mirror marathon (never again, i tell you!) and i finally watched what inspired you to write this story. i have to say, i'm liking your version tons better, specially since you promised a different ending, and now i'm crossing my fingers for an ok ending, at least, if happy endings are too farfetched at this point in the story. ok, i want a happy ending. irony sucks, you know?

Aaahhhhhh! Can't wait to see Dave dancing and singing his way into Puck's Play through Star Shot! So glad you didn't quit this fic! How many chapters now?!

It doesn't matter how long it takes you to update, it's always worth the wait! This chapter was no exception. Once again, you make incredibly huge steps in developing the characters, even in a chapter that is petty short on actual action, and you do it with style and subtlety! People should take notes, this is how you maintain interest in a story without taking shortcuts or the easy way out!

What's most amazing is how no character is left out of the development here. Kurt, with his slippery slope, gains some vulnerability and uncertainty. Sebastian and his jealousy fit (subdued but very clear nonetheless), has now a genuinely likable side and more dramatic dimension. I like how Blaine turns out to be not so squeaky clean and nice (an echo to canon Blaine...). Seeing Dave falter and pick himself up, makes his struggle ever so engaging and Santana, even with her ever-present snark, manages to show more loyalty and dedication than ever. It's perfect in terms of progression and as a lead towards a great final arc.

I'm so eager to see what's next. The showdown is so close I can taste it!

Hmm, I can't help wondering now if Britt doesn't remember Santana because she's been drinking black Compliance...

Lovely, lovely chapter! Beautifully written-I really love how descriptive your phrases are. Very surprised how sympathetic Seb is here-and I really like it. You have a knack for setting up subtle nuances/hints that make a real impact once they sink in.

Also love the tension of Kurt being tempted to give in to Blaine and yet struggling so hard to keep himself for Dave. Maybe I missed it or I've forgotten-but is there a reason he can't call Dave?
