Nice short story! I've always liked Gale more then Peeta, but I understood why Katniss didn't end up with Gale in the end. I always thought he wanted to say he loved her before he got pulled away.
I do have to say that I don't feel Katniss loved Peeta went she searched for him after the rule-change but it doesn't influence the story quality, so good job.

This is such an excellent story. I love Gale; I ship Everlark but I GET the Gale thing, and this is such a punch for so short a fic. It's such a messy situation, and you capture that so well.
