Wow. That was amazing. You really articulated what it was that made Gatsby "great." That put a lot of things in a new light for me.

I would recommend breaking the main body into more paragraphs, to make it a bit easier to read. Also, I think "that Dan Cody and he met" should be "that he met Dan Cody."
