I read this after the prequel and I have to say that it didn't quite mesh. The AN for one of the prequel chapters mentioned you might be updating/changing this fic, so I thought I would give my thoughts on it.

In particular, the paragraph in the beginning where Sephiroth was talking about a 'quick fuck,' Cloud being clingy, and the only reason for keeping him around was because he was 'a good lay' felt off. In the prequel, Sephiroth was looking for more than that, 'dating' rather than 'fucking'. (I'm not entirely sure why he would expect Cloud to be a quick fuck anyway given his shy personality and generally reserved behavior, but then again, Cloud did put out on the second date.)

In no way do I think I have any right to tell you how your story should go, that was just my impression of that paragraph. I found it jarring, I guess. The prequel definitely had Sephiroth as being dominant, but also a bit playful(or at least he had an amused gentleness since Cloud was nervous) and definitely showed at least some level of interest in Cloud as a person rather than just his body. In fact, the prequel specifically said, Sephiroth didn't just want to get laid, he wanted a partner. True, he wanted a submissive partner, but he was definitely leaning more towards 'relationship' than one-night stand.

It was also jarring when he suddenly went back to being caring again. At first he basically said, "He's a good lay, so I haven't tried too hard to get rid of him," and implied that he wouldn't really care if Cloud stayed one way or the other, then within a few paragraphs (after the flashback) he gets really worried that Cloud WOULD find out and leave.

That said, it was still great porn. Without reading the prequel, I probably wouldn't have felt anything off about it at all.

Excellent porn indeed! I like tantacle porn, always have, and this is as good an explanation as any. Tentacle hair is really unique, I don't think I've seen this particular idea before. I can't blame Sephiroth for freaking out, though. Especially since the hair seems to have a mind of it's own.

Cloud is freaking adorable in this. So much earnest concern for Sephiroth (made him soup because he thought he was sick, aww!), and his easy acceptance of Sephiroth's new "additions"... Yeah, he's definitely not one to let go, Seph! Hopefully this is the beginning of a long and happy relationship for these two.

And I see you have a sequel to this. *goes to read*

poor Sephiroth being so sleepy. awww cute on what Cloud wanted to help. uh his hair picked up the pencil odd plus his hair is long which helps. wow Could is really worried over the sliver head. awwwwwwwwwww Sephiroth was touched how Cloud made soup for him. my my on his hair. love this line so much (Sephiroth shook his hair off his arm and thought of Hojo and mako showers and dead bodies in the battlefield. "Coming.") lol win on it. yep Cloud is awesome how he doesn't care about moving hair along his lover was safe. yay he is keeping Cloud.

Great as usual. Really, Sepiroth with tentacle hair. I had not even pondered that idea with Sepiroth's hair being so nice.

*discretely wiping away drool* I like! Haven't seen any good tentacle-sex fics in a while... though, I guess in Sephiroth's case it would be cilia-sex. Flagellum-sex if they formed together to get bigger... gawd, its times like this that my science nerd days haunt me. HaH!

Sephiroth's reaction is very understandable; if my hair was able to do things like that, I'd totally freak. Three days, not a bad round to think about it rashionally. Though, sometimes I get the feeling there is one thing he and Hojo have in common... in their own ways, both are perverts. You can't tell me Hojo wasn't cackling with glee over the thought of his perfect, god-like creature having tentacles. That he covered it up with that 'if you have it, use it in battle' rot only furthers the idea. Yeah, I've got Hojo's number, could probably write a very disturbing essay about it.

Cloud's kink was so hot, too! I've always been of the doctrine of try it once before making a firm decision, but Cloud embodies it in this great fic! KUDOS!

Lol, I just had the image of Cloud getting molested by hair/tentacles at night when both he and Sephiroth are sleeping XD
