Wrong move Lobo. Maybe a fucked up move lol.
Anyway it's nice so far, even though it's too much for Batsy fans.

Just read this over a second time. I’ve read many great fanfics, but if I had to choose a favorite it would most likely be this one.

I’ve always wanted to write a story like this—one where Batman is alone and dying and the League is shown his memories. You’ve certainly inspired me to pursue something similar. Enough about me though, it’s far past time I wrote a review for this masterpiece.

I can tell you spent an inordinate amount of time researching and planning out this story…or at least that’s what it would take for me to write something like this. There are so many details early on that come into play later in the story. I’m also impressed with your vast knowledge of the DC universe. There were times where I thought it would have been better if you did something else, only to find out that a few paragraphs later, you did exactly that.

Your variation of the characters are spot on. To be able to do that with 10 recurring characters is remarkable. Particularly Batman, he’s a pretty complex character, but you nailed him. Deep down he’s kind, caring, and loving, but the tragedies in his life prevent him from showing it. On another note, I’ve really grown to love Lobo after reading your stories; his funny comments really help balance out the darker parts of this story.

You really know how to write with feeling. I found myself laughing at one sentence and crying at the next more times than I could count. Yes—I’d challenge anyone to read this story without shedding a tear. The ending was perfect, it does an excellent job of wrapping up the story from every character’s point of view in a very heartfelt manner.

I’m also impressed at your ability to write cliffhangers. I would no doubt have been frustrated many times if I read this while you were updating it. It makes the story very exciting and very hard to stop reading once you start.

This is better than anything I’ve read or seen from DC. I’d pay a pretty penny to see this made into a comic/movie.

I think Bruce and Diana are perfect for each other; they balance each other out. She being the only one to understand him, love him for who he is and change him for the better(as you pointed out). And he being the only one to make her seem human and give her a challenging yet very interesting relationship.

Again, job well done, and I hope you continue to write more.

Cheers

This was a beautiful story. It had great emotional moments, good references from other batman media, and the characters were written nicely. The concept of hearts and what they're like was written nicely and the way they're described was very intriguing. This was the first Justice League fanfiction I've ever read and now I'm hook on reading more. Thank you!

I ended this story with the biggest smile on my face. It really reminded me of JL and JLU episodes. Great plot and character work...and you made me like Lobo?! Haha. Just excellent all around.
Axccel chapter 34 . 12/12/2019
Uhhh, love is very conditional on the attributes that cause you to love that person not disappearing or warping.

Why is Diana making her actions depend on Bruce opening up to her first? Ignoring the fact the damage she caused would make that basically impossible, he has almost no experience with it and is afraid of it. Expecting him to open up first is therefore ridiculous and unfair to him.
Axccel chapter 33 . 12/12/2019
Pfft, no. It was not ironic and it was not Bruce that killed that relationship. It was Selina. She did stuff like that over and over regardless of any decision to stop stealing. She frequently betrayed his trust and even betrayed him to villains multiple times. He was perfectly right and justified to believe that time was just yet another just like all the other times.
Axccel chapter 30 . 12/12/2019
I knew it would be this one. Everyone's favorite tear jerker from that show. It..*sniff* I'm not crying! Shut up!
Axccel chapter 23 . 12/12/2019
It doesn't seem to occur to John that Batman is severely traumatized and John now knows that Batman relives that trauma all nice and fresh every single time he sleeps. That's a pretty damn good reason for having trouble opening up to people. So, what's the Justice League's excuse?
Axccel chapter 22 . 12/12/2019
You write a great Lobo! Wait, since he desires himself so much that he shot his Black Mercy vision of himself out of sheer ego...doesn't that mean he loves himself more than he loves himself?
Axccel chapter 21 . 12/12/2019
Pfft, I chuckled at "Amazonian way of peace". They're way is "we live in a magical land with no needs or wants, everyone should stop having needs and wants." Yeah, like everyone will suddenly have no more needs, no need to fight for resources or living and farming territory or whatever. Sure. One of the reasons the Amazons need a harsh kick to the face.
Axccel chapter 16 . 12/12/2019
It's amazing how even in the show they so easily forgot how many times they have hurt Batman and the many times they've betrayed his trust. The difference is that Batman understands their actions and reasons whereas they decided that his insurances were not needed and so saw his actions as basically making him an enemy.

If I remember correctly, their adamant refusal to accept any contingencies for the event of one or more of them going rogue for whatever reason was the whole reason why Batman made secret contingencies in the first place. Because if they weren't going to prepare for it (things they had already experienced, no less), there would be nothing to stop them. Whereas the Justice League was Batman's contingency against himself going rogue/nuts.
Axccel chapter 12 . 12/11/2019
Batman: "Do what I say because if you don't you might die."
*Is consistently proven right about that.*
Everyone: "You keep pushing us away so we're leaving you!"
*Frequently gets nearly killed and the world nearly ends until Batman saves everyone. Again.*
Everyone: "So, are you done pushing us away now?"
Batman: "...Did you not listen to a word I said?"

Seriously, the problem is that Batman is a reasonable person and everyone he knows is a prima donna.
Axccel chapter 7 . 12/11/2019
Come to think of it, the communications blackout would make the Justice League look AWFULLY suspicious. Especially given that they kicked out Batman as well as WHY.
