There is no question that you can write but the thing that stuck out to me the most was Orihime's OOCness. Granted, you wrote this in 2012-14 so things may have changed if you were to ever write her character again. She had her bouts of IC-ness, like when you had her carry around tubes of wasabi and red bean paste in her purse - hah, that is definitely something she would do. But then when you have her cursing and sassing left and right, the reading experience gets suspended. In those moments, I don't see the Orihime we know from canon but just a stranger with the same name. Ironically, Ulquiorra is more IC than her and he's usually the one that most writers have a hard time with.

But speaking of Ulquiorra, I've never seen him use his olfactory senses to do what he does here. He usually senses "living" beings, whether weak or strong, through just his sharp perception of reiatsu alone. Sure, he might have some instincts left over from his 'animalistic' Hollow days but sniffing for another's presence doesn't seem to be something he would have to do anymore. (Not to mention that bats aren't really known for their superb sense of smell - maybe some species but not in general.)

Lastly, I was surprised by how you had Ulquiorra even /consider/ the thought of returning Orihime's affections via kissing. He's more the type of individual to analyze why humans would partake in an activity that requires such a close proximity than doing it himself, especially so early in the story. You seemed to have a pretty good grasp of his character up until that point. (Except, the fact that he inexplicably wants to protect Orihime right from the get-go, even when you had him acknowledged that he doesn't know why himself, could have been eased in better because otherwise, it seems more like a convenient plot device.)

what? I protest! Agh! What a crappy ending! OK not so crappy but still. An open ending is a crappy one. I'll be avoiding your stories on the basis that while really well written, you like horror and angst too much.

Ok, the 'y u no leave review' is precisely why I am right now. My habit is to read an entire work before commenting. However, that was cute, so here's my comment. I have seen very few grammatical or punctuation errors, (admittedly, I don't go LOOKING for them, I'm just an English wizard). I am just a reader, never a writer, so when I read someone else's work, im usually in awe of their superior imaginative prowess. :) I'm pleasantly intrigued by this story thus far. I've laughed several times, which I love to do, and I'm enjoying it thoroughly. So thank you for sharing your imagination with me.

Would have been nice if Ichigo could have told Grimmjow they found Ulquiorra, but I guess if every story always had a happy ending they would get predictable. At least we know they won't give up so they should find him sooner or later.

It has been a while since the last time you updated ulquihime, I did not expect this final in Angels and Demons, but okay.
Although it is a shame that you lost the inspiration for this couple, I really enjoyed each and every one of your stories about them, will miss those updates, even though I have the hope that recover the inspiration.
Have you tried to return to the top? That is, try to remember what prompted you to start a particular story? Usually usually something you've seen or read, or some emotion, not how else to explain it right now ...
Anyway, I feel that I did not get in touch for so long, I remember I had pending the history If I could fly, but between problems with my laptop and my lately busy life, I have not forgotten, and I gave losing only hope to pass my streak of bad luck soon.
