I would very much enjoy an epilogue, but I think this is a good note to end on as well. The sketchiness and the backwards feel and everything. I can't say I like what happened, because who wants that? I want John with Sherlock!

And I would like to know why the Doctor is tied up in this, and I would like to know what Sherlock was doing, and what Mycroft was planning, and maybe even a bit more Moriarty - and I would definitely, definitely, definitely like more John, because your John is enchanting. But I think it would be fine as well if you simply ended here. This ending fits the puzzle, even if we don't quite have all the pieces.

Huh. Yeah, please do an epilogue at least. This was a great story, but the last chapter didn't fit well for me with the other chapters.

This is a lovely story. It is very Sherlock and very John and very Doctor and very Mycroft. It is, overall, fit perfectly to everything and very intriguing besides. I don't really understand exactly what's going on, but the way you've written it makes that not only tolerable but better than actually knowing.
