Holy crap. You just described my childhood.
I always played in cemeteries.
There were more cemeteries than playgrounds where I grew up. One had this awesome hill with no gravestones that we could use for sledding. It also had a gravel road and a steep hill for bikes. Wiping out hurt like no one's business. Then there were the ghosts...
Then I again I didn't take my father's death hard. We didn't get along.

This was your first Sherlock fanfic? Well I would say you did very well. I like that it had all be subtle with their relationship and to be honest I liked it even more that in your story Sherlock admitted to not ever have had sex so far. I am always torn on that topic, I am open for all outcomes but personally I somehow think it fits Sherlock more if he never had sex, just knows the theory very well and doesn't shy away from the topic. But having sex would be, as I imagine, a bit strenuous and while we all know Sherlock loves to run around London after clever criminals, that might have been a bit too much for his liking of movements and activities with no furhter motivation than simply curiousity involved. Therefore, I like your idea very much.

Anyway, I am rather at awe about your first story. Currently I've started posting my own first work of a Sherlock fanfic, but I do not feel half as confident as you might feel about my story. Anyway, I enjoyed this reading and I hope there will be more stuff I can look forward to in the future.

I'm half way through the story and I really loved it so far... I think it is sweet and I love to see John and Sherlock 'dancing around each other' - looking for more sweetness to come :-)
