ah, great idea. Mike as a tailor might just be a perfect way to get into Harveys pants knowing how much he loves his suits. Thank you for writing this story :)

Absolutely wonderful. I can't believe I haven't read this. I thought I had read every Mike/Harvey out there. Loved the "Tell me..." idea it gives a real framework for the story. I love this happy, loved version of Mike.

"Ask me." Ali lays her hand out, palm up, and allows Verity to stare at it a moment before repeating herself. "Sweetheart. I said to ask me." Verity's eyes sparkle with a hint of mischief as she turns her head to the side gathering her flat mate's gaze and hand. She swings their arms lightly in the breeze as they begin to walk toward the lower bridge of the reservoire.

"Ask you what, silly?" The smirk on her companion's face does not go unnoticed. It is relaxed, but filled with mirth and clear devotion - not just to Verity, but to all that she represents in Ali's eyes, in her life, in the vision of hope that has been laid before her.

"Ask me if I loved it." Verity lets her head fall back, staring into the rosey colors of the evening sky, contemplating her readiness to hear the answer to the proposed question. Bringing her chin forward again, her eyes catch the dancing blue of Ali's once more.

"Did you love it?" Ali stops moving forward and turns toward Verity taking the lapels of her woolen navy peacoat between her fingers to pull the girl towards her. Ever closer. Ever attentive.

"Honestly?"

Verity let's out a light-hearted sigh before she gets a poke to the rib cage from her partner. She full out giggles at the invasion. "Stop it! Yes, of course 'honestly!' Now stop poking, damn it!" As her giggles subside, Ali takes both her small hands between her own gloved fingers and rubs the chill from them. Ali's red curls fall from her shoulders as she lifts her teasing smile to greet her brilliant friend once more.

"It was beautiful, V. Absolutely beautiful."

Super job. Such a romantic look at what is fast becoming my favorite couple.

Yayyyy, Harvey finally admitted it. This was as great as the original. Amazing job!
