Having lost a few family members and friends to Cancer myself, this story hit me pretty hard. And I'm very sorry to read about how Cancer took the lives of others close to you. My best wishes go out you and I hope that you are doing well today.

As for the story itself. Wow. That's all I have to say. This was absolutely heartbreaking to read and very sad. It made my heart ache, and made me cry pretty hard, and that's a rare thing for Fanfiction to do. But at the same time, very well written. Another Fanfiction rarity(no pun intended).In my honest opinion, most Fanfictions aren't that well written. This story is absolutely an exception to that. I'm also glad that this story wasn't somber just for the sake of being somber like other Fanfics I've read. And I appreciate that despite the story itself being heartbreaking, it ended on an uplifting note. I appreciate the heartbreaking stories that don't always end on a downer note. I even like ones that end happy persay. But bittersweet endings have a special place in my heart.

In all, thank you for writing this amazing story. I think you have a phenomenal writing skill. Just don't let it go to up the good work!

That was weird. I mean, it was very touching, but I just went and looked up NSCLC, and it seems like you didn't before you wrote this. Also how did Twilight know exactly when Spike was going to die?

This reminded me of my great-aunt who died from colon cancer about a year ago... I couldn't cry then but I'm crying now, both from reading this story and from remembering her. Thank you for writing such a beautiful thing.

Dammit, you made me cry into my chicken noodle soup. Cancer is a horrible thing, & I pray to God that it never takes me, or anyone close to me away. And I am deeply sorry for all the pain that Cancer put a lot of people through. Great story, dude.

Great story havent felt this sad since reading My Little Dashie and remembering how to cry because ever since third grade I had never cried that story and this one are the only two things to make me cry since and I thank you for sharing it
