I love the changes you've made so far , the characters are making their own decisions, however I hope Severus won't go on with his task, it's sad that he still doesn't understand what he got himself into, I really wonder how Deirdre would have the capability to forgive him once everything is revealed, since we know that would happen giving they'd share a daughter together ( I hope she doesn't join death eaters as well tho.) I like how you're showing us signs of how they are going to start their romantic relationship ! can't wait to read more :)

My God! These men in her family wanted submissive wives. No wonder she doesn't want that life. Hell, I don't want that life! They only want that because it was easier to control than others. I have a feeling that she will join them because she is like the few independent woman in Death Dealers that wanted to change for themselves. Severus will protect her and i know because she consider his equal in way. Great story by the way. Can't wait for more.

I like the longer development of Severus's and Deirdre's relationship during the first war and I can't wait to see how it goes form here. I imagine that Severus is going to try and use Deirdre's desire to study the dark arts for her medical career as a way to get her interested in joining the Death Eaters, although I doubt she will be convinced. However, an interesting plot twist for the whole story would be that she joins for a while before both she and Severus leaves the Death eaters but I doubt that will be the case. Hope to read another chapter soon.

So, first time reader here~!
The fact that it's a rewrite bums me out a little, especially since it was written in the "bones" of the original (from previous experience I hate the idea of a fanfic story that was obviously popular being erased -even though you offer to share the original so I suppose it's not that bad). I think it would've been better to have just started new with the upload though... Anyway, I really liked this first chapter. It was very well written, very long with good pacing, and it all just makes sense. I'm really looking forward to the next chapter.

So a rewrite? Okay, I'll gladly reread the story. Although it has been years I clearly remember some part from Deirde perspective...

So you know I really like your story, if you want to start over to stir it in the direction you prefer, then I will gladly follow you. I impatiently await your next update.

Alright at first I was miffed that you decided to rewrite this story thirty chapters in but I will admit that this is a bit truer to Snape's backstory. Can't wait for the new chapters.

I'd just started this story a couple of days ago and got super confused when the next chapter wouldn't show up XDXD BUT I'm already liking the direction this is going!

I can already tell that in this version you'd make the characters make their own mistakes instead of being forced into an unfair situation...
Itd just be harder for deirdere to trust severus since he did choose to join the deatheaters and he did lie to her about his plans.. but maybe itd be easier at the same time since she is not a halfblood whos life is threatend because she had a muggleborn mom..
But either way i hope severus realizes his mistakes and eventually understand why lilly couldnt forgive him(since she was right about him and he did wish to join the person whos desire was to kill her own kind)

So in this version Severus willingly joins the Dark Lord, I wonder how he will still be with Deirdre if he wasn't forced this time?
