This I cute and at the same time kinda heart-breaking. I mean, just the fact that Leonard-a doctor-was hurting his patient without knowing it... that depressed me a little. I couldn't imagine how that felt for him.

But it's nice to know that Spock tried hard (and succeeded) in curing this problem.

Spock and his complete and utter surprise at the sparkage, and the pain it causes at first. the way you describe flows well, but he's obviously very jarred by it.

Yessss...I've been trying to cheer myself up with fic all day, and this one finally helped. :) I loved Spock's confusion over what was causing the shock in the first chunk, as well as McCoy being hurt over the fact that he was unintentionally hurting Spock. The progression of the touches was really nice, too, going from the painful shock to not-so-bad when not shielding to the surface emotions and all. Also, awkward confessions during physicals ftw! :)
